• How long will my order take to be delivered?

We have a full rundown on our shipping information linked here. In short, orders can take between two to ten working days to be produced and shipped, plus one to five working days to be delivered. This will all depend on the order and delivery address.

• Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes. We deliver everywhere and anywhere in South Africa.

• How much do deliveries cost?

Deliveries range from R90 for smaller orders, to R150 for very large orders. Delivery is free for orders of R1000 or more.

• What if I need my order in a hurry?

Please email us before placing your order to see if we can assist with a quick delivery. (eat@thecounter.co.za) Please note that overnight deliveries are only available for main city centres and do come at an extra cost.

• Are your products Halaal certified?

Unfortunately not. Since we use alcohol in some products and also use our kitchen for events catering, we unfortunately cannot be Halaal certified. We do consider most of our products to be 'Halaal Friendly'.

• What does 'Halaal Friendly' mean?

Since all of the ingredients (gelatine included) we use in our products are Halaal (with the exception of Bourbon in our Bourbon and Vanilla Salted Caramel Sauce), we consider our products to be safe for consumption by those who are not strictly Halaal.

• Do you offer discounts?

Of course! You are eligible for 10% off your first order with us when you sign up, as well as free delivery (no code required) for orders of R1000 or more. Please sign up to our newsletter to be the first in the know of other discounts offered.

• My discount code isn't working - what now?

Please note that you can only use ONE discount code per order. For example - if you are trying to use a sign-up code with the free delivery over R1000, only one of these will reflect.

• Do you sell vegan and gluten-free products?

Yes, we do. All vegan and gluten-free products are marked as such - you can also use the 'search' function on our site to find these products easily.

• Do you have a retail store?

We don't have a retail store, as all of our products are sold from our online store, or other retailers.

• Where can I buy your fudge in my city?

We have stockists across South Africa - you can find the full list on our site here. We always suggest calling a stockist before visiting, to ensure they have stock.

• Do you offer custom products?

Yes, we do, bearing in mind that most custom items will have a minimum order quantity. 

• Do you offer corporate gifting?

Yes, we do! We can assist with corporate gifting at almost any budget. We offer full customisation on finishings, as well as individual deliveries nationwide - so you barely have to lift a finger. More information can be found here.
