Let’s just get this out of the way – breakfast is the best thing ever. Don’t even try and change my mind. It’s my favourite meal without a doubt, so when NutriDay got in touch to see if I wanted to be a part of their Breakfast Party, I was like “Um, obviously!”.
The reasoning behind the campaign is simple. Celebrate breakfast every day. No need to tell us twice, NutriDay. No need…
Along with a few other amazing bloggers, I got to create a breakfast recipe using their delicious double cream yoghurt. Double cream, no sugar – speaking my language. I decided to go with a Moroccan style flatbread, a few crispy olive oil fried eggs, bacon, slow roasted vine tomatoes, loads of fresh greens and a coriander yoghurt dressing. This breakfast? This is one for a lazy weekend brunch with friends and a spicy Bloody Mary.
The recipe can be found over on the NutriDay Breakfast Party page – you’ve got the option to vote for it if you think it’s delicious, and you could win R1000 just for clicking a button. The recipe is something a little different to the usual brekkie recipes, so hopefully you’ll give it a bash this weekend.
